◦ 조사대상 : 17개 시․도 ※ 지역연구기관 등과의 협력을 통한 현안 발굴
◦ 조사내용 : 재난·안전사고 등 신속한 과학기술적 대응을 요구하는 긴급현안
◦ 조사방법 : ‘수요조사서(붙임)’ 작성하여 공문 접수

□ 사업개요
◦ (사 업 명) 국민생활안전 긴급대응연구사업
◦ (총사업비) 28억원(‘19년 / 행안부 5, 과기정통부 23)
◦ (총지원규모) 10개 과제 * 1개 과제당 2.5억원 정도, 2년간 최대 5억원
‣ 상반기(4개 과제) : 산불확산예측, 약물 성범죄 예방, 사회재난 안전도 진단, 터널 사고예방 연구 추진
◦ (현안선정) 연구 필요성 및 긴급대응현안과의 연관성, 실현 가능성,
연구의 독창성, 연구비의 적정성 등을 고려하여 선정

□ Demand Survey
 ◦ Purpose: To promptly respond to unexpected new types of disasters and safety problems,
 ◦ Period of investigation: July 15 (Mon) to July 29 (Mon)
 ◦ Subjects covered: 17 cities and provinces ※ Finding out trends through cooperation with local research institutes
 ◦ Contents of the survey: Emergency issues requiring prompt scientific and technological responses such as disasters and safety accidents
 ◦ Method of investigation: submit official document of ‘Demand Survey Form’
=> Complete the demand survey and send it to the Research Promotion Team (hyeran11@unist.ac.kr)

□ Business Overview
 ◦ Project Name: National Living Safety Emergency Response Research Project
 ◦ Total business expenses: 2.8 billion won (’19 / Ministry of Public Administration and Security 5, Ministry of Science, Technology and Information 23)
 ◦ Total support: 10 projects * Approximately KRW 250 million per project, up to KRW 500 million over two years
     ‣ First half (4 tasks): Prediction of spread of forest fires, Prevention of drug-related crimes, Diagnosis of safety of social disasters, Prevention of tunnel accidents
 ◦ Selection of current issues: Selection based on consideration of research necessity and relevance to urgent response issues, feasibility, originality of research, adequacy of research expense, etc.
