Our laboratory's primary focus centers on comprehending heat transfer phenomena in soft materials, encompassing polymers and living tissues. We explore their practical applications in electronic devices and medicinal contexts, while also delving into the advancement of materials possessing exotic thermal properties. As an illustration, we specialize in the development of rapid and precise cooling technology, which facilitates the identification of unique animal behaviors at low temperatures. Moreover, we investigate methods to control tissue functions through thermal energy manipulation. Additionally, our research efforts extend to the cost-effective manufacturing of graphene-related materials, designed for applications in diverse gaseous species sensors, enhanced mechanical properties of carbon-based composites, high-performance thermal systems, and functional filtration sheets. By engaging in these research endeavors, our aim is not only to achieve pioneering research findings but also to create spin-off laboratory technologies suitable for commercialization purposes.
