In our lab, we study advanced laser manufacturing technologies including not only conventional macro processing applications, such as laser heat treatment, laser welding, and laser cladding, but also laser microfabrication and dual-beam pulsed laser deposition for advanced functional coatings. Our recent focus is on the development of innovative technologies by extensively using artificial intelligence in various aspects of laser materials processing.
