Quantum systems carry information in a fashion drastically differently from that of classical systems. What characterizes their difference? What is the nature of quantum information as a physical entity? Our group tackles this problem by studying informational behaviors of quantum systems in the theories of quantum correlation, catalysis of quantum resources and quantum thermodynamics. We focus on solving theoretical open problems of fundamental interest with connection to real-life applications.
