1. 목적 : 미래 유망 산업분야 대상, 울산과학기술원의 원천기술과 RIST의 실용화 역량의 협업 추진을 통한 신사업 발굴 및 사업화 추진

2. 지원분야 : 신사업 Domain + 미래 유망 기술분야 중신
– 새로운 원천기술개발이 아닌, 현재 가용 기술을 활용한 추가 기술 개발, 2-3년 이내 실현 및 사업화가 가능한 기술 및 제품/서비스 중심
– 신사업 Domain : 에너지저장소재, 카본케미칼, 스마트 제조, 산업용 가스, 바이오, 환경, 첨단세라믹, 해운 물류

3. 연구단 구성
– 연구당장 : 울산과학기술원 교수(필요시 겸직 가능)
– 연구단원 : RIST 연구원/기술원 + 울산과학기술원 석/박사 연구원
* 연구단은 Open Lab 센터장 산하

4. 연구과제
– 연구기간 : 2년 + 1년(매년 중간평가를 통해 Go-stop Decision)
– 연구금액 : 위탁과제 최개 2.5억원/년(과제당 최대 6억원/년이내)

1. Purpose: To discover and commercialize new businesses by collaborating with the Ulsan Institute of Science and Technology’s original technology and RIST’s practical capabilities for promising industries

2. Support area: New business Domain + Future promising technology area
– Focuses on technologies and products/services that can be realized and commercialized within 2-3 years of development of additional technologies using current available technologies, not new source technologies
– New Business Domain: Energy storage materials, carbon chemical, smart manufacturing, industrial gas, bio, environment, advanced ceramics, shipping logistics

3. Organize a research team
– Research Immediately: Professor of Ulsan Institute of Science and Technology (can be held concurrently if necessary)
– Research team member: RIST researcher/TECH + Master/PhD researcher at Ulsan Institute of Science and Technology
* The research team is headed by the head of the Open Lab Center

4. Research project
– Project period: 2 years + 1 year (Go-stop decision through interim evaluation every year)
– Grant : Up to KRW 2.5 billion/year (up to KRW 600 million/year per task)

5. Receipt of proposals
– Reception period: ~ August 31, 2022 (Wed) (until 24:00)
