동그라미재단은  2020년부터 인류 난제 해결을 위한 혁신과학기술 공모를 통해 총 13개 센터를 선정,  약 46억원의 연구개발비를 지원해왔습니다.

Since 2020, The Circle Foundation has selected a total of 13 centers through its “Innovative Science and Technology Proposal for Solving Humanity’s Grand Challenges” and has provided approximately 4.6 billion KRW in research and development funding.

 올해는 선진국에서 발병률 및 유병률이 증가하고 있고, 완치가 어려운 NTM(비결핵항산균) 폐질환 해결을 위해 ‘NTM 폐질환 치료제 개발 공모’ 를 오픈했습니다.

This year, due to the increasing incidence and prevalence of NTM (Non-Tuberculous Mycobacteria) lung disease in developed countries, and the difficulty in curing it, the foundation has opened the “NTM Lung Disease Treatment Development Proposal.”

1.  해당 분야에 역량 있는 국내 개인/단체 모두 응모 가능합니다.
2. 올해는 1차 지원 서류가 매우 간소화 되었고,
3. 개인 및 산학병연 간 컨소시엄 응모도 가능합니다.

*선정 시, 연 최대 3억원 지원, 1년 지원 후 평가결과에 따라 추가 지원 가능(최종 지원금액 및 추가 지원 여부는 재단에서 최종 결정)

1. Individuals or organizations with expertise in this field are eligible to apply.
2. This year, the initial application process has been significantly simplified, and both
3. individual and industry-academic-research consortium applications are also allowed.

*Selected applicants will receive up to 300 million KRW per year, with the possibility of additional support depending on the evaluation results after the first year (the final funding amount and additional support will be decided by the foundation).
