We design, synthesize, and characterize organic materials and seek for their applications in organic electronics. Particularly, we are interested in controlling the frontier molecular orbital energy levels by heteroatom-doping. By bottom-up approach using organic chemistry, we carefully introduce heteroatoms into the molecule and control their positions at atomic level.
