과기정보통신부는 영국과의 과학기술분야 국제협력 확대를 위해 「한-영 과학혁신기술 이행약정」(‘23.11월)에 근거하여 제1차 한-영 과학기술 혼성위원회*(Mixed Committee, ’24년 하반기) 개최를 검토하고 있습니다.
* 기존 과기정통부, 산업부, 복지부에서 운영한 영국과의 개별 협의체(과학기술공동위원회, 과학기술혁신파트너십(STIP)위원회, 보건의료 혁신회의)를 통합한 한-영 과학기술 협의체
이와 관련하여 과학기술분야에서 양국간 협력 현황과 향후 협력이 필요한 분야의 의제를 파악하고자 하오니 해당사항이 있는 경우 아래와 같이 제출해주시기 바랍니다.

In order to expand international cooperation in the field of science and technology with the UK, the Ministry of Science and ICT held the 1st Korea-England Mixed Committee on Science and Technology* (’24) based on the Korea-England Science and Innovation Technology Implementation Agreement (November 2023). We are considering holding it in the second half of this year.
* Korea-UK science and technology consultative body that integrates individual consultative bodies with the UK (Joint Committee on Science and Technology, Science and Technology Innovation Partnership (STIP) Committee, Health and Medical Innovation Conference) operated by the existing Ministry of Science and ICT, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and Ministry of Health and Welfare.
In relation to this, we would like to understand the current status of cooperation between the two countries in the field of science and technology and the agenda of areas requiring future cooperation. If any, please submit them as follows.
