첨단소재(신소재) 개발 및 응용에 있어 해외 의존도가 높은 우리나라의 경우 자원의 재분배와 융복합화가 절실한 상황이며, 국제 경쟁력을 확보하여 핵심 소재의 대외 의존도를 줄이고, 부가가치를 높이기 위한 국가 주력산업 핵심 소재개발과 재료응용 기술의 중요성이 커지고 있습니다.

이에 국제첨단소재기술대전 사무국에서는 산업통상자원부, 한국생산기술연구원, 한국세라믹기술원, 한국재료연구원, 한국세라믹연합회, 한국세라믹학회, 접착코팅필름산업위원회(CAMO), 신소재경제신문 등 관련 산, 학, 연, 관 합동으로 “제13회국제첨단소재기술대전(INTRA2025)”을 개최하며,

특히 첨부된 초청장과 같이 한 동안 침체됐던 소재기술 R&D 활성화를 위해 과학기술정보통신부 강연을 비롯한 50여건의 소재전문 세미나(컨퍼런스) 1,200편의 논문발표, 720건의 기술포스터 발표 등을 개최하오니 많은 관심 및 참석바랍니다.

In the case of Korea, where dependence on overseas sources is high in the development and application of advanced (new) materials, the redistribution and convergence of resources are urgently needed. Strengthening international competitiveness to reduce reliance on foreign countries for key materials and to increase added value highlights the growing importance of developing core materials for national strategic industries and advancing material application technologies.

In this context, the Secretariat of the International Advanced Materials Technology Exhibition, together with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Korea Institute of Industrial Technology, Korea Institute of Ceramic Engineering and Technology, Korea Institute of Materials Science, Korea Ceramic Federation, Korean Ceramic Society, Coating Adhesive Film Industry Committee (CAMO), and News of Advanced Materials, will jointly host the 13th International Advanced Materials Technology Exhibition (INTRA2025).

As indicated in the attached invitation, in order to revitalize material technology R&D—which has been stagnant for some time—the event will feature a keynote lecture by the Ministry of Science and ICT, more than 50 specialized material technology seminars (conferences), 1,200 academic paper presentations, and 720 technical poster sessions.
