The RISE Project Group at the University of Ulsan, as part of the 2025 RISE Project for Ulsan’s Industry-Academia-Research Joint R&D Program, is pleased to announce a call for proposals for the “i-CORE: Joint R&D Projects for Future Core Technologies Tailored to Regional Industrial Demands.” This initiative aims to support technological innovation R&BD and mutual growth with local companies in the Ulsan region. We encourage the participation of interested individuals.

A. Project Type:
Joint R&D Projects for Future Core Technologies Tailored to Regional Industrial Demands (i-CORE)

B. Research Fields:
Ulsan’s key industries and emerging sectors

C. Support Details:

1. Eligibility: Small-scale research teams led by full-time faculty members of the University of Ulsan, in collaboration with regional companies (preferential consideration for projects involving UNIST faculty as co-researchers)

2. Funding: Up to 250 million KRW per project

3. Duration: Up to 2 years (1+1 structure), from the date of agreement to January 31, 2026
