첨단분석장비와 다양한 모델링 기법을 이용하여 잔류성유기오염물질(POPs)을 포함한 다양한 독성물질의 오염특성을 평가한다. 미세먼지를 포함한 대기오염물질의 장거리 이동, 대기-지표 교환, 수계오염, 극지오염 등 매체 통합적 환경거동 연구를 수행한다.
We investigate the level and pattern of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) and various toxic chemicals using mass spectrometers and various modeling tools. Long-range atmospheric transport, air-soil and air-water fluxes, and multimedia fates of POPs in various environmental compartments are current research topics in our lab.
