Kyong-Mi Paek is Professor in the School of Liberal Arts, UNIST. She received her Ed.D. in art education from Teachers College, Columbia University in New York. Her research interests include sociocultural aspects of art learning, inquiry-based learning, interdisciplinary learning, critical cultural inquiries of practitioners in art and education. Her research comprises three interrelated study areas: Contemporary art as a potential site for facilitating scientific creativity; Learning art in the context of public education; and Re-establishing ecological linkages through art.
