We focus on the spin dynamics in patterned magnetic nanomaterials and its applications to spintronic devices. Our research aims at exploring the fundamental understandings of new concepts in spintronic devices by harnessing a “spin”, quantum states of an electron and its dynamics. Particular interests are concerned with the development of new information processing technology to break through the energy dissipation limit of current charge-based logic devices as well as the development of innovative materials for the rare-earth free permanent magnet based on the multi-scale numerical calcula￾tions.
