Our major research interests are applications of gas hydrates to energy and environmental systems with a primary focus on CO2 capture and storage, gas storage and transportation (natural gas and H2), and flow assurance. Gas hydrates are solid inclusion compounds in which gas molecules are trapped within a crystal structure of water and have many technical applications due to their ability to capture specific guest components.
