Visual Information Processing (VIP) Lab. is carrying out research on Computer Vision, Image Processing, and Machine Learning, based on the academic background of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, and Artificial Intelligence. Specific research topics of VIP Lab. are image enhancement and restoration, large-scale 3D visual data processing, object detection and recognition, image stitching, and multimedia data compression. Applications of research include smart vehicles, mixed reality, robot vision, and visual intelligence systems.
