Korea Research foundation is a research management institution established on June 26, 2009 under the Korea Research Foundation Act with the aim of contributing to the promotion of the nation’s academic, scientific and technological capabilities and enhancing research capabilities.
We would like to inform you that we are inviting you to the position of head of the New Social Science Specialist (PM).

Director of Social Science | Research and analysis of research trends and research support in the relevant fields such as law, politics, administration, economics, business administration, education, sociology, journalism, and social welfare (including performance management)
Matters concerning planning and research, such as planning the basic project plan and development of evaluation indicators in the relevant field; Establishment, management, and participation in policy tasks related to the relevant field Preparation of annual report related to research support in the relevant field, etc. Matters related to examination and evaluation in the relevant field (setting detailed plan for examination, panel classification, composition and examination of examiners, etc. Establishment of a review and evaluation plan for the Korea Social Science Research (SSK) Support Project Matters concerning support for the work of expert members in the field under their jurisdiction; Management and operation of the pool of judges in the field of jurisdiction Requests for internal and external matters related to other areas under jurisdiction |

| Director | A person who has excellent expertise in the field of study (technology) and business management (management) ability for the project under his/her jurisdiction. A Ph.D. holder has at least 15 years of research experience or research administration, and a master’s degree holder has at least 20 years of research experience

□ How to apply: Open recruitment or recommendation committee
□ Term of office: 2 or 3 years from the date of appointment
※ Application for term of office shall be made for two or three years at the time of completion of the application
※ PM external evaluation is conducted every year, and dismissal or reappointment can be applied according to the evaluation results

| 단장 | 해당 학문(기술)단 소관 학문(기술)분야에 탁월한 전문성과 소관 사업에 대한 사업경영(관리) 능력을 겸비한 자로서, 박사학위 소지자인 경우 연구경력 또는 연구행정경력 15년 이상, 석사학위 소지자인 경우 연구경력 또는 연구행정경력 20년 이상인 전문가
※ 내부직원이 응모할 경우 선임연구원 이상이며 상기조건 충족자 |
□ 응모 방법 : 공개모집
□ 임기 : 임용일로부터 2년 또는 3년
※ 임기는 신청서 작성 시 2년 또는 3년 중 선택하여 신청
※ 매년 PM 외부평가를 실시하고 평가 결과에 따라 해촉 또는 연임 신청 가능
□ 급여 및 수당 : 재단 관련 규정에 따름
□ 인사 및 복무 : 재단 관련 규정에 따름
